We offer sandwich and wrap platters, cold buffets with salads, quiche, sausage rolls and sides, cakes and sweet platters, and tea and coffee stations that run continuously for the two to three hours most wakes last. All freshly prepared and delivered ready to serve. We plan generously — people often eat more than expected at a wake, and running short is the one thing that should never happen.
A typical wake buffet for 40 guests costs between £200 and £350, depending on what you choose. A simple sandwich and savoury platter spread sits at the lower end. Adding hot food, sweet platters, and afternoon tea options takes you higher. We will always work within your budget and be honest about what is needed and what is not.
Most wakes in Cornwall are held in one of three places: a village hall near the church, a hotel or pub function room, or the family home. We cater for all three. We aim to have the food laid out before the family return from the crematorium or church, so guests are met by a ready table the moment they arrive.

We can go smaller than our standard 20-person buffet minimum for funerals. Around 10 guests upwards works well for value. Give us a call to discuss.

No. Wake buffets are always drop-and-go: we deliver, set out the spread, then leave. Guests and family serve themselves. Larger gatherings follow the same format — we do not provide serving staff, waiting staff or front-of-house at any size.
We deliver across all of Cornwall and into Devon. A small travel supplement may apply for Devon. Based in Redruth, we cover Penzance to Plymouth. Everything arrives ready to serve — no kitchen or equipment needed at the venue.
